The National Bureau of Statistics informs that insurance companies in January-June 2025:

• received accrued gross premiums in the amount of 1593.0 mln. lei, increasing by 2.6% compared to the same period of the previous year;

• recorded revenues and expenses higher than those in the corresponding period of 2024, respectively by 7.9% and 10.6%;

• paid out insurance indemnities and compensations in the amount of 660.2 mln. lei, or 23.9% more than in the first half of 2024.
