National Bureau of Statistics informs that, according to the results of the Labour Force Survey (LFS), in the fourth quarter of 2023:

• labour underutilisation rate was 9.7%, increasing by 0.9 percentage points than in the corresponding quarter of 2022;

• the ILO unemployment rate was 4.9%, increasing by 0.3 percentage points than in the fourth quarter of 2022;

• the combined rate of underemployment and unemployment was 7.3%, increasing by 0.2 percentage points  compared to the fourth quarter of 2022;

• the combined rate of unemployment and potential labour force rate at country level was 7.4%, increasing by 1.1 percentage points compared to fourth quarter 2022.
