National Bureau of Statistics informs that, according to the results of the Labour Force Survey (LFS), in the third quarter of 2023:

• labour underutilisation rate was 9.2%, increasing by 4.2 percentage points  than in the corresponding quarter of 2022;

• the ILO unemployment rate was 4.1%, increasing by 1.6 percentage points than in the third quarter of 2022;

• the combined rate of underemployment and unemployment was 7.3%, increasing by 2.7 percentage points from the third quarter of 2022;

• the combined rate of unemployment and potential labour force rate at country level was 6.1%, increasing by 3.2 percentage points from the level of the third quarter of 2022.
