National Bureau of Statistics informs that in January-September 2023 the volume of construction works decreased compared to the same period of 2022 with 3,7% (in comparable prices), as a result of the decrease of the volume of new construction works (-8,5%) and of the volume of maintenance and current repairs works (-20,5%). The volume of capital repairs works and the volume of other construction works (demolitions, land improvement before construction, etc.) increased in the analysis period with 31,7% and 17,3% respectively compared to January-September 2022.
