National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in the fourth quarter of 2022 the volume of construction works decreased compared to the same period of 2021 with 6,6% (in comparable prices), as a result of the decrease, by structural elements, of the volume of capital repairs with 32,4%, the volume of maintenance and current repairs with 5,4%, the volume of other construction works (demolitions, land development before construction, etc.) with 27,9%. At the same time, the volume of new construction works increased with 9,7% in the period under review compared to the fourth quarter of 2021.
