National Bureau of Statistics informs that, according to preliminary estimates, Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in the first quarter of 2023, amounted to 63,7 billion lei, current market prices, decreasing - in real terms - with 2,4% compared to the first quarter of 2022 on gross series. On the seasonally adjusted series, GDP in the first quarter of 2023 decreased by 2.2% compared to the first quarter of 2022 and increased by 1.1% compared to the fourth quarter 2022.
