Industrial activity in January-March 2022

The National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in March 2022, the industrial production (gross series) increased by 2,5% compared to the corresponding month of the previous year. The increase of production in March 2022 compared to March 2021 was due to increases in manufacturing industry (+2,9%) and production of electricity, gas, steam, hot water and air conditioning supply (+2,7%), generating the increase of production on total industry by 2,2%, and 0,6%.
