Average monthly earnings and the average number of employees in the second quarter of 2023

National Bureau of Statistics informs that in the second quarter of 2023 the average gross monthly earnings in the real sector units with 4 or more employees and all budgetary institutions amounted to 12175,9 lei, increasing by 17,3% compared to the second quarter of 2022 and by 6,0% compared to the first quarter of 2023.

Passengers and freight transportation in January-June 2023

National Bureau of Statistics informs that 133,6 million passengers were transported by public transport in January-June 2023, an increase by 21,8% compared to the same period of the previous year. This evolution was determined by the increase in the number of passengers transported by air (+37,2%), rail (+32,7%), road (+25,3%) and electric (+20,2%) transport.
