In real terms (adjusted for the average annual consumer price index) the population incomes increased by 1,9%.The average monthly consumption expenditures of the population, in 2023, amounted to 4248.4 lei on average per person, which is 14.5% higher compared to the previous year (Table 4 in the Annex). In real terms (adjusted for the average annual consumer price index), the population spent on average 0.9% more compared to 2022.
