National Bureau of Statistics informs that in January-September 2023 compared to January-September 2022:

• number of passengers transported by public transport increased (+15.3%) and turnover of passengers (+14.5%)

• transport of goods registered decreases both in the volume of goods transported (-8.3%) and in the turnover of goods (-6.4%).

In January-September 2023, 200.1 million passengers were transported by public transport increase by 15.3% compared to the same period of the previous year. 

In January-September 2023 the railway, road, river and air transport enterprises transported 13,6 million tonnes of goods, 8.3% less than in January-September 2022.
