Passengers and freight transportation in January-October 2021

The National Bureau of Statistics informs that in January-October 2021, 50,5 million passengers were transported with public transport, with 11,9% more than in the similar period of 2020. The passengers turnover constituted 2900,7 million passenger-km, increasing with 44,0% compared to January-October 2020.

In January-October 2021 the railway, road, river and air transport enterprises transported 15,7 million tonnes of goods, a volume higher than that the one recorded in January-October 2020 with 16,0%. The turnover of goods totaled 4259,6 million tonnes-km, with 12,6% more compared to the corresponding period of 2020.
