National Bureau of Statistics informs that, according to the results of the Labour Force Survey (LFS), in the second quarter of 2024:

• the population outside the labour force aged 15 and over was 1099,3 thousand persons, decreasing by 2.2% compared to the second quarter of 2023;

• the inactivity rate of the population aged 15 and over was 55.0%, increasing by 0.4 percentage points compared to the second quarter of 2023.
