National Bureau of Statistics informs that, according to the results of the Labour Force Survey (LFS), in the second quarter of 2024:

• labour underutilization rate was 8,8%, increasing by 0,2 percentage points compared to the corresponding quarter of 2023 (8,6%);

• the ILO unemployment rate was 3,9%, increasing by 0,1 percentage points than in the second quarter of 2023;

• the combined rate of underemployment and unemployment was 6,7%, decreasing by 0,1 percentage points compared to the second quarter of 2023;

• the combined rate of unemployment and potential labour force rate at country level was 6,0%, increasing by 1.8 percentage points compared to second quarter of 2023.
