National Bureau of Statistics informs that, according to the results of the Labor Force Survey (LFS), in the fourth quarter of 2022, the population outside the labor force aged 15 and older was 1226,5 thousand persons, decreasing with 1,9% compared to the fourth quarter of 2021 (1250,3 thousand).

Among the inactive population, the share of women (57,4%) was higher compared to that of men (42,6%), and the share of inactive people in rural areas was higher than the share of those in urban areas (respectively 65,9% and 34,1%).
