The National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in January-March 2021, the entities in the real sector with 5 and more employees and the budgetary institutions made investments in fixed assets amounted to 3,8 billion lei or 14,8% less compared to the corresponding period of 2020.

In 2020, the total length of aqueducts and public water distribution networks expanded by about 500 km of newly built networks, or by 3,4% and amounted to 15,4 thousand km. Compared with 2016, the total length of water supply and public water distribution network was increased by 15,8%. Also, 49,9 km of aqueducts and public water distribution networks were rebuilt.
