The National Bureau of Statistics informs, that in February 2012 compared to January 2012 the consumer price index (CPI) registered 100,6%, and compared to February 2011 - 106,2%. From the beginning of the year (February 2012 compared to Decemebr 2011) consumer prices increased 0,9%.

Sales indices of agricultural production prices
National Bureau of Statistics informs that, the average sale prices of agricultural products sold by agricultural enterprises in 2011 compared to 2010 increased 10,0%. Average selling prices for plant products increased 12,5%, while for animal products remained at the same level.
National Bureau of Statistics communicates that 35,1 thou. crimes were registered in 2011, which is 5,2% more than in 2010, and 41,8% than 2006. Of total crimes, 2/3 were registered in urban area. The number of registered crimes per 10 thousand inhabitants was 99 cases in 2011 compared to 69 in 2006.
The National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in the IV-th quarter 2011 the economically active population (employed population and unemployed persons) of the Republic of Moldova was 1216,4 thousand persons, more with 5,5% (63,1 thou.) persons compared to the IV-th quarter 2010.

As compared to 2010 this volume increased with 9,3% (comparable prices).
