The situation of children in the Republic of Moldova

National Bureau of Statistics presents information on the situation of children in 2022.

As of January 1, 2023, the number of children aged 0-17 in the Republic of Moldova accounted for 539,4 thousand, or 21,5% of the total number of the population with usual residence.
