The National Bureau of Statistics informs that according to the results of the Labour Force Survey (LFS), in the third quarter of 2022, the labour underutilization of population aged 15 years and older constituted 45,1 thousand persons, decreasing by 11,7% compared to the third quarter of 2021 and by 33,0% compared to the third quarter of 2020. The share of the labour underutilization in the total extended labour force (underutilization rate) was of 5,0%, less than the values recorded in the third quarter of 2021 and 2020.

The underutilization rate for men was 5,3%, for women - 4,6%, and respectively in urban areas 5,4% and in rural areas 4,6%.
