The data on some indicators are revised compared to those previously published, and for 2021 some indicators are preliminary and in further editions can be revised. The relative indicators reported to the number of population were revised based on the usual resident population.

Insurance damages and compensations paid in January-September 2022 amounted 628,3 million lei and increased by 32,5% compared to the corresponding period of 2021.
The National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in January-September 2022, 173,9 million passengers were transported by public transport, an increase of 19,8% compared to the corresponding period of the previous year. This evolution was mainly determined by the increase in the number of passengers transported by air (+40,1%), by road transport (+21,6%) and by trolleybuses (+19,1%). At the same time, there was a decrease in the number of passengers transported by river transport (-23,5%) and rail (-11,5%).
