The publication is developed based on the results of structural business survey and presents the main indicators of business activity in the Republic of Moldova in 2024, including types of activity, forms of ownership, size classes and regional aspect.
The Statistical yearbook „Chisinau in figures” is the most complete publication, which comprises statistical data regarding the demographic, social and economic situation of the municipality. The yearbook is structured in 15 chapters, containing information from various fields: general data, population, labour force, population incomes and expenditures, education, culture and sport, health protection and social protection, dwellings and public utilities, environment, justice.
The publication includes information that characterizes the existence and use of natural resources, the state of the environment in the Republic of Moldova. Contains data on the existence and use of land, water resources, and useful natural substances, atmospheric air quality, climate change, biodiversity, waste generation and use, data on forest resources and hunting, and violations of environmental legislation.

The statistical publication “Children in Moldova” is the 3rd edition developed by the National Bureau of Statistics and summarizes the main indicators characterizing the child’s situation in the Republic of Moldova during 2019-2024. The publication is structured into 9 chapters which contains data on the following aspects: demography, children’s health and education, juvenile justice, social protection, situation of families with children as well territorial and international data.
The infographics present a synthesis of the main statistical indicators in the fields of demography, education, family, juvenile crime, social protection, health, culture and sport.
The yearbook contains the most recent statistical data available in various fields, for economic and social characterization of the country in 2024 , as well as the evolution in recent years of the main indicators. The data on some indicators are revised compared to those previously published, and for 2024 some indicators are preliminary and in further editions can be revised. In the final part of the Yearbook data on international statistics are presented, which allows comparison of some indicators for the Republic of Moldova with those from other countries.
„The Energy Balance of the Republic of Moldova” is a large statistical collection, which presents the statistical indicators on the formation of primary and general resources of energy, distribution, and final energy consumption on the main activities of the national economy during the period 2020-2024.
The National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) maintains an active collaboration with the Technical University of Moldova (TUM), participating in several meetings with the university's students and professors, in order to familiarize them with the institution's activity, employment opportunities and internship.

Between 9-26 September, the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) is conducting training seminars on the implementation of the household statistical survey "European Health Interview Survey" (EHIS) for interviewers. The survey will be carried out in the fourth quarter of 2025. A total of 132 people will be trained within the seminar.
