The National Bureau of Statistics reports that in January-March 2025, 607 permits were issued for the construction of residential and non-residential buildings. In January-March 2025, 448 permits were issued for residential buildings and 159 permits for non-residential buildings.

The National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in 2024, compared to the previous year, in the entities that carried out research and development activity over 3.3 thousand people worked, or 0.2 thousand people less (by 5.8%) compared to the previous year, expenditures for research and development activity amounted to 699.1 million lei, or 28.0 million lei (by 4.2%) more compared to 2023, recording about 0.22% of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) (at the level of 2023).
