​National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in the real sector units with 4 or more employees and all budgetary institutions, in the fourth quarter of 2025: the average gross monthly earnings amounted to 16355,1 lei, and increased by 8,9% compared to the fourth quarter of 2024 and by 5,6% compared to the third quarter of 2025.

National Bureau of Statistics informs that, according to preliminary data, in 2025 investments in long-term assets amounting to 41.4 billion lei, increasing by 17.6% (in comparable prices) compared to 2024, of which: investments in tangible assets amounting to 39.7 billion lei (increasing by 16.4%); investments in intangible assets amounting to 1.7 billion lei (increasing by 1.5 times).

National Bureau of Statistics informs that the gross agricultural production, in all categories of agricultural producers in 2024 amounted 85,4%, in comparable prices, compared to 2023. At the same time: a 21.3% increase in crop production; a 3.4% decrease in livestock production.

In 2025, a total of 23.1 thousand crimes were registered on the territory of the Republic of Moldova, decreasing by 6.0% compared to 2024 and by 14.9% compared to 2021. The crime rate in 2025 accounted for 97 crimes per 10,000 inhabitants, compared to 103 crimes in 2024.

The National Bureau of Statistics reports that in 2025, public transport enterprises carried 333.0 million passengers, representing an increase of 8.3% compared to 2024.

Between 16–20 February 2026, the National Bureau of Statistics hosts the Peer Review mission of the National Statistical System of the Republic of Moldova, as part of the 2025–2027 Peer Review round, organised under the auspices of the Statistical Office of the European Union – Eurostat.
