Between 16–20 February 2026, the National Bureau of Statistics hosts the Peer Review mission of the National Statistical System of the Republic of Moldova, as part of the 2025–2027 Peer Review round, organised under the auspices of the Statistical Office of the European Union – Eurostat.

National Bureau of Statistics informs, that industrial production (gross series): in December 2025 compared to December 2024 increased by 9,3%; in 2025 compared to 2024 increased by 5,4%.

The National Bureau of Statistics informs that the volume of construction works: in the fourth quarter of 2025 increased compared to the fourth quarter of 2024 by 24.3% (in comparable prices); in 2025 it increased compared to 2024 by 32.2% (in comparable prices).

The National Bureau of Statistics reports that in 2025, tourist accommodation facilities were visited by 525.1 thousand tourists (a 10.7% increase compared to the previous year), including 238.9 thousand resident tourists (45.5% of the total) and 286.2 thousand (54.5%) non-resident tourists.

Exports of goods in December 2025 were amounted to 351,9 million USD, with 11,1% less than in November 2025 and with 30,4% more compared to December 2024.

The National Bureau of Statistics informs that in 2025, the number of visitors (tourists and excursionists), participants in tourism organized by travel and tour operator agencies totalled 604.1 thousand people (8.7% more than in 2024), of which: inbound tourism (the total number of activities of a non-resident visitor in the visited country as part of an inbound tourist trip) recorded 90.5 thousand people (+33.8% compared to 2024).outbound tourism (travel of residents of a country outside its borders for tourism purposes for more than 24 hours) - 401.8 thousand people (+1.2%);
