National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in the real sector units with 4 or more employees and all budgetary institutions, at the end of the fourth quarter of 2025: about 31,9 thousand job vacancies were recorded; the job vacancy rate (the ratio between the number of job vacancies and the total number of jobs) was 4,6%.

The National Bureau of Statistics reports that agricultural producer prices in 2025, compared to 2024, increased by an average of 10,7% as a result of price increases: for crop products by an average of 12,9%; for livestock products by an average of 3,6%.

National Bureau of Statistics informs that, according to the results of the survey ,,Labour Force Survey” (LFS), in the fourth quarter of 2025 compared to the third quarter of the same year: the labour force (active population aged 15 years and over) was 830,9 thousand persons, decreasing by 6.3%; the employed population aged 15 and over was 806.4 thousand persons, decreasing by 5.8%.

The National Bureau of Statistics presents the statistical portrait of women and men in the Republic of Moldova based on available data. According to the preliminary results of the 2024 Population and Housing Census, the number of the usually resident population, as of April 8, 2024, was 2401,2 thousand persons, of which women constituted 52,8% and men – 47,2%, respectively.

National Bureau of Statistics informs that, according to preliminary data, in 2025 investments in long-term assets amounting to 41.4 billion lei, increasing by 17.6% (in comparable prices) compared to 2024, of which: investments in tangible assets amounting to 39.7 billion lei (increasing by 16.4%); investments in intangible assets amounting to 1.7 billion lei (increasing by 1.5 times).
