The National Bureau of Statistics reports that in January-June 2026, compared to the same period in 2025, gross agricultural output across all categories of farms increased by 8.9% (in constant prices), as a result of an increase: in crop production by 21,2%; in livestock production by 9.0%

National Bureau of Statistics informs, that: value of manufactured industrial production (in current prices) in 2025 amounted to 95,0 billion lei, representing 105,4% in comparable prices compared to 2024; value of delivered production amounted to 88,4 billion lei, of which 60,6 billion lei (68,6% of total delivered production) was delivered to the domestic market and 27,7 billion lei (31,4% of total delivered production) to the external.

National Bureau of Statistics communicates that in 2025: small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) accounted for 99,7% of the total number of reporting enterprises (similar as in 2024), large enterprises account for only 0,3% of enterprises; the average number of employees in SMEs constituted 393,0 thousand, owning 71,6% of the total average number of employees of enterprises (compared to 70,9% in 2024); sales revenues of SMEs amounted to 563,3 billion lei or 73,4% of total sales revenues in the economy (compared to 71,7% in 2024).

National Bureau of Statistics informs that, according to the results of the business survey, in the opinion of managers, in the third quarter of 2026 is expected: relative stability of economic activity and of number of employees; moderate growth sales turnover and of prices of products and goods.

National Bureau of Statistics informs, that industrial production (gross series): In May 2026 compared to May 2025 increased by 8,2%; In January-May 2026 (cumulative from the beginning of the current year), compared to January-May 2025, it increased by 7,2%.
