Aspects of the Standard of Living of Population of the Republic of Moldova in 2025” is an annual statistical publication containing detailed information on income, expenditures, housing conditions, household food consumption, availability of durable goods, etc.

National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in the real sector units with 4 or more employees and all budgetary institutions, in the second quarter of 2026: the average gross monthly earnings amounted to 16895,7 lei, and increased by 9,2% compared to the second quarter of 2025 and by 5,7% compared to the first quarter of 2026.

The National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in January–June 2026, investments in fixed assets amounted to 16.4 billion lei, increasing by 5.2% (at comparable prices) compared with January–June 2025, due to an increase in investments in tangible fixed assets (7.4%).

National Bureau of Statistics informs that, according to the results of the annual survey "Earnings and Labour Force Cost in 2025": the average gross monthly earnings of an employee amounted to 15594,5 lei, increasing with 11,5% (or 1604,5 lei) compared to 2024; the average net monthly earnings were 13226,8 lei, 11,6% (or 1369,9 lei) higher than in 2024.

The National Bureau of Statistics reports that in January-June 2026, public transport companies transported 167,9 million passengers, 2,2% more than in the same period of the last year. This evolution was due to the increase in the number of passengers transported by trolleybus (+3,1%) and road (+0,9%) transport.

The statistical publication is developed on the basis of the results of the Labour Force Survey and contains statistical data regarding the labour market in the Republic of Moldova in 2025, disaggregated by sex, age groups, area of residence, education level.
