Exports of goods in July 2026 amounted to EUR 319,4 million, increasing by 16,6% compared to June 2026 and by 7,7% compared to July 2025.

National Bureau of Statistics informs that the preliminary estimations of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP): In the second quarter of 2026, it increased in real terms by 0.9% compared to the second quarter of 2025; In the first half of 2026, GDP grew by 0.6 % compared to the corresponding period of 2025.

The publication includes statistical data covering various areas: demographic situation, health, tourism, crime, consumer price indices, agriculture, industry, investments in fixed assets, construction and transport.

The National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in August 2026, the average consumer prices increased compared to: July 2026 – by 0.2%; December 2025 – by 4.9%; August 2025 – by 7.0%.

National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in the real sector units with 4 or more employees and all budgetary institutions, at the end of the second quarter of 2026: about 31.9 thousand job vacancies were recorded; the job vacancy rate (the ratio between the number of job vacancies and the total number of jobs) was 4.5%.

In the second quarter of 2026, men accounted for 51.8% of the labour force, exceeding the share of women (48.2%). Also, persons from urban areas accounted for 52.4% of the labour force, exceeding the share of those from rural areas (47.6%).
