In the spotlight

The statistical publication is developed on the basis of the results of the Labour Force Survey and contains statistical data regarding the labour market in the Republic of Moldova in 2025, disaggregated by sex, age groups, area of residence, education level.

The National Bureau of Statistics informs that the volume of construction work: In the second quarter of 2026, decreased by 6.3% compared to the second quarter of 2025 (in comparable prices); In January-June 2026, decreased by 8.2% compared to the corresponding period of 2025 (in comparable prices).

National Bureau of Statistics informs, that industrial production (gross series): In June 2026 compared to June 2025 increased by 10,6%; In January-June 2026 (cumulative from the beginning of the current year), compared to January-June 2025, it increased by 7,9%.

Biroul Național de Statistică informează că, în ianuarie – iunie 2026 comparativ cu ianuarie–iunie 2025, structurile de primire turistică cu funcțiuni de cazare au înregistrat creșteri la numărul: turiștilor cazați cu 15,8%; înnoptărilor turistice cu 4,6%.

National Bureau of Statistics informs that in July 2026 producer prices in industry: increased with 0,3% compared to June this year; increased with 0,6% since the beginning of the current year; decreased with 0,2% compared to July 2025.

Exports of goods in June 2026 amounted to EUR 274,0 million, increasing by 6,0% compared to May 2026 and by 18,7% compared to June 2025.
