Biroul Național de Statistică informează că, în ianuarie – iunie 2026 comparativ cu ianuarie–iunie 2025, structurile de primire turistică cu funcțiuni de cazare au înregistrat creșteri la numărul: turiștilor cazați cu 15,8%; înnoptărilor turistice cu 4,6%.

National Bureau of Statistics informs that in July 2026 producer prices in industry: increased with 0,3% compared to June this year; increased with 0,6% since the beginning of the current year; decreased with 0,2% compared to July 2025.

Exports of goods in June 2026 amounted to EUR 274,0 million, increasing by 6,0% compared to May 2026 and by 18,7% compared to June 2025.

The National Bureau of Statistics informs that in January-June 2026, the number of visitors (tourists and excursionists), participants in tourism organized by travel agencies and tour operators totalled 230.1 thousand people (an increase of 0.8% compared to January-June 2025).

The number of the population with usual residence population on January 1, 2026 constituted 2365,6 thousand persons, of which 517,3 thousand or 21,9% were young people aged 14-34 years. The distribution of young people by sex was as follows: 47,9% - males and 52,1% - females.

The National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in July 2026, the average consumer prices recorded the following developments: compared to June 2026, they decreased by 0.1%; compared to December 2025, they increased by 4.6%; compared to July 2025, they increased by 6.3%.
